During the in the last part of 2023, one of our members heard that the the firefighters in the area have to buy their own food when they come to the firehouse to work their shifts. Its unfortunate they don’t receive just compensation for what they do for the community, so we decided the least us Knights could do is provide an occasional meal for these brave men and women who will risk their lives to save others. So began our quest to provide them with a home cooked dinner, ensuring they have plenty of leftovers to take home to their families as well.

It all came together on December 19th, 2023, as the first meal we provided was at Station 18. We served them BBQ chicken with all the fixings. We partnered with Pepsi Bottling Company and gave them a cooler full of drinks to go along with the meal. We will provide meals to other stations routinely beginning in 2024.
